Almost everyone who owns a business knows it: for different processes you have different software. No problem, as long as system X and system Y can properly exchange data with each other. But that can be problematic, because often X and Y stubbornly refuse to do so. Or at least it is very difficult and involves many detours. Annoying and also extremely inefficient.
