Together with Congress Care, we developed the Event Manager App: an all-in-one platform that brings together all important event information. The app is linked to the event management system, so data only needs to be entered once and is instantly available. In addition, the app offers convenient features such as offline access, push notifications and the ability for participants to create a personal program.
Congress Care hosts about 80 meetings annually, each with unique requirements and scales. In the past, different event apps were used depending on the specific needs for each congress. For one event, vendor A was appropriate, while another event was better supported by vendor B.
This created extra work for each new event: an app had to be chosen, configured and set up each time. Therefore, we joined forces and together developed the Eventmanager App that contains all the necessary functionalities, regardless of the type of event. This ensures not only a more efficient process, but also a consistent user experience for both organizers and participants.
The Event Manager App was developed to give attendees easy access to the program and other important event information. In addition to the mobile app, a web application was built to allow CongressCare staff to manage all settings, such as event functionality and look and feel.
The app pulls all data directly from the event management system, so conference programs, speakers and presentations only need to be entered once. This eliminates duplication and ensures that all information is always up-to-date.
The app also works completely offline, allowing users to access the program, speakers and other important event information without an Internet connection. Ideal if the user cannot connect to the Internet at that time.
With a few clicks, participants put together their own program so they don't miss a single important session.
Organizers can easily send push notifications to attendees during an event, for example, to keep them informed of last-minute changes or important updates.
Sponsor data only needs to be entered once and can be added to future events at the touch of a button. This saves time and creates a streamlined workflow.



This first version of the Event Manager App is a big step forward, but we're not done yet. We continue to expand the app and web application with new features to make organizing conferences and events even more efficient.
